Was able to hear the tire go and feel it at the same time. Got off the gas right away hit the right blinker and moved to the shoulder while watching the right rear view mirror. Saw the fender fly off on the shoulder not in the travel lane. If the fender wound up in the travel lane it could have been a reel mess. Not sure about other states but in FL you are responsible for accidents or damage caused by road debris from your vehicle.
