: how goes the iceboating?

Not good, Lumpy. Rookie sailing alone went into a hole and drowned in Maine yesterday.

Makes for icy treatment from other iceboaters' spouses (like mine) for a while. They start thinking about what they could spend the money on if we sold "our" iceboat(s). I tell her the life insurance is worth more than the boats. She doesn't think that is one bit funny.

It's okay, I've been through it before. She'll get over it in two, maybe three years.
