I recorded the program tonite and it starts here again in 25 minutes. History nut that I am, I have been looking for months to find aircraft from our unit. I didn't notice our aircraft, but we were there at Duc Lap during that time. The Fourth Infantry Division aircraft did more support out in that area than our unit did, but Our "Crocks" were out there frequently. I'll check the program again to see if that is one of our birds, I'll check it on the tape so I can back up and freeze the picture. You were right about the red mud, but the same mud was blatantly evident at Polei Kleng, Dak To, Bien Het, Dak Seiang, and numerous sites and hills throughout that area.
