Ugly stuff, Mark. Don't get no uglier ... usually.

You know what I do when I start feeling like there's no salvage? I detour a couple of blocks on my way to work, into Hartford's Spanish "ghetto" and see all the Spanish rugrats, all shined up, in their best clothes, on their way to nursery school, and kindergarten, and 1st grade etc ... all with their Spanish "bimbo" looking moms, who all look about 16 yrs old, have tight pants, big bazookas, and a firm grip on their offsprings' cute little jelly-stuck hands. It really is neat, and very refreshing.

Our warehouse crew (in Hartford) is about half Spanish, some have almost no English, and they are the best we have had in the 30 years I've been doing this. Lovely folks, lovely. We always have to go through duds a few to get a good entry-level employee, but we have always needed to do that, no matter where they came from.

Hang in there, buddy. All is not lost. It only looks like it a lot, lately.
