... and bread. Little canned bread, like twice as thick as an english muffin. That pound cake was worth like 3 of other good stuff. Crackers with cheese n' stuff on top was okay too. Funny, I don't remember any Tabasco sauce. We were eating pretty old stuff in late '68, some from the early 50s. I wonder if there was any in there. Must have been, I just don't remember it.

I'm sure glad I didn't have to hump them cans around, tho. A case of C's under your seat didn't change anything.

I'm also wondering what the Desert Storm guys used on the feed side of their M-60s. MRE bag prolly wouldn't help feed the belt much. Maybe they wrote home for Chef Boy-ar-dee spaghetti, so's they could hang the can?

Unusual things keep me awake, wondering.
