I think that was somebody's great idea for an LZ. The only trouble with it was the fact the hole was so deep we cann't get down into it without hitting our rotor blades. The poor grunts who were to jump off would have broken their necks or worse. Of course the "C and C" copter was yelling for us to off-load the grunts and we were telling them we couldn't. Just another beautiful day in our neighborhood. Or a carefully planned R/F.
