I remember the adrenalin pump. Those of us who played any football knew how to super charge the pump - you just started yelling like coming off the line at the snap. The old pump was really going then. You felt like if you had to, you could tuck the ship under your arm and run with it!!
We all have had to deal with Nam in our own way. I think guys like Buzzy have had some really bad experiences - as many of us did, but we all heal at a different pace. It takes a while for all of us. Look at us - it took 30 years for many of us to start looking around for our brothers in Nam. Jack is right - if any guy in green was in trouble, the 119th was there no matter what. We are also human and we made some mistakes, but our achievements far outweigh those times. I am very proud to have served with the 119th - the best damned AHC in Nam.
