That sounds pretty close to what I remember. He traveled a lot lighter than most. Ammo and that damn bodashous rifle. Really looked like he was going out to the country to cook off a few rounds for the "Hell of It". I looked at the rifle and ask him, " What the Hell" and he just grinned. That's the extent of the conversation. I don't recall ever going back to pick him up.
