Them dang ARVN Special Forces and Rangers thought they should "own" that whole area from Dak Pek to the Se San and around to Duc Co and Ple Me and back up to Kontum, including the Plei Trap. And do you think the VNAF would support them? HAH!! So, guess who got to spend a lot of time working out of LZ 6 and Dak To?? Ghostriders and Alligators, that's who!!

What was that tall spire of rock with the sheer walls and the little mesa on top that was inside the river where Laos and Cambodia and VN all came together?? I had a pretty vivid dream about that place not to long ago. Not a good one, either.
