If his legs are long enough to reach the foot pegs with knees slightly bent change the seat for the ride. For me just having the kids along is rewarding and worth the change in apearance. I keep a taller sissy bar on mine so they have a good back rest. The rest is simple, just sit still and stay awake. The kids feel like hot Stuff on the back of a Harley.
