We were not a mess. That's what we called fun. We didn't get shelled enough at Holloway so we got some extra time in at Polei-Kleng. That was one of the benefits of being a flight crew. They would shoot at us in the air and on the ground. A true crew member could get their entire body inside their flight helmet when the shit hit the fan and still fire his gun and clear the aircraft.
