Mark, some of these "liberals" last weekend had a so-called "anti-war" (read "anti-Bush") demonstration in a town near here. Maybe 100 of 'em.

One guy showed up supporting our troops and a local TV station decided to interview him.

A couple of "liberal" dirtbags immediately showed up with actual marching drums, and beat the drums incessantly on either side of the camera in order to make it impossible to conduct the interview. They did not appreciate the absurdity in this idiotic course of action.

To his credit, and to the credit of the interviewer, the "peacenik's" victims simply said to the noisemaking lefties, "Don't you get it? Do you understand that you are simply illustrating a problem, and you are the freaking problem? You are demonstrating because of the right you have to free speech, yet you want to seize this man's right to free speech?" They, of course, had several extremely intelligent reasons why they had a perfect right to disrupt the other man's right to speak.

I'd have punched the bastards and looked like an idiot. They handled it very well by NOT doing that, made the commie drumbeaters look really stupid.

I dunno. What sounds or feels like a good idea at the time sometimes does not play well on the tube, or in Peoria, I guess is what I'm saying.
