Ya see, you got there too early. I went to the Class VI store one day to find the SGT in a shear panic. I wanted Booze and he had to unload a trailer with 18 palets of beer on it. I got two crewmen who were in their hooch and offered them some booze if they would help unload the truck. We set up the ramps and got ready to go. (I had worked in a wholesale beverage company, beer distributor, before entering service) We emptied the truck in less than an hour. I did the stacking, the SGT did the throwing to me, the crewmen did the off loading and running the beer down the ramp. After that, the Class VI crew always gave me a heads up when a fresh load of booze was in. I got all I wanted without having my ration card stamped. I ran the hooch bar and the funds from the bar set us up for several parties and cookouts in the court yard. To my knowledge, the hooch never ran out of the good stuff for the remainder of my tour. It made for some nervous mortar raids though.
