Does anyone know how I can go about getting the longtitude / latitude equivalent from a set of grid coordinates on a military map ? I have a couple of maps at home but I can't remember if they have Lat/Long on them.
TeraServer allows you to see sat images all over the world. You need to know the latitude and longtitude however, to find a specific location that is not associated with a name or zip code. For example, you can look up Pleiku, Vietnam and see a 1999 sat image of it. If you are a subscriber, you can get down to a 1 meter resolution (very nice).
I would like to get Lat/Long coordinates of Holloway and get some sat images (if they make holloway available). I also have the grid coordinates that were given during the extraction of Gator 297. I need to find the Lat/Long equivalents and get sat images of that area of the Plei Trap.
Any suggestions ?
