I did a few months as crewchief with 326 med bn,101st Abn Div.,mainly ran the jungle penetrator,most pickups were in a hoverhole.Must say -we always went in as long as we had gun cover-even if it was a slick-that was only sop we were supposed to adhere too.I had to start a tracheotomy, on a guy with no face,with my the point of my k-bar-that was the worse for me.Alan
