9/11

It's been 4 years, which is really hard to believe, just like it's hard to believe it's been
over 35 years since I came home from Nam. They both seem like only yesterday. The really sad part is that I'm not quite certain what we learned from either one, as a country, and I'm not convinced we're a whole lot better off than we were at either time. I do know these are dangerous times, and much is at stake, maybe even
life as we know it in the USA. I certainly hope we're better prepared than I think we are, and this is one time I certainly hope I'm wrong. We have become a naive and lacadaisical country and don't take the rest of the world too seriously. I
hope we're not a country divided, but sometimes it becomes hard to believe that when we have so many people in our country that can't even speak English, and our courst require us to give up some of our freedoms for those who come here from other countries. I think it's time for some serious reevaluation and changes to both Congress and the Supreme Court. It's just my opinion but I think it's time we took our country
back from the politicians and restored it to what
it was intended to be; ONE NATION UNDER GOD!

Shoofly

P.S. Sorry, Tom left his soap box sitting by my desk.
