I agree that the area would be great for a visit to the Northeast. As a matter of fact, I suggested the reunion be held on the East Coast so that it would get us closer to those who have been unable to attend the reunions in the West. It would also offer some of us the opportunity to go by and visit some of the unit members who will not attend the reunion.

The point that I was making with the July date immediately following the VHPA was that it takes approximately $700 worth of gas to make it from my location to the Northeast and back. I was just suggesting July because after spending $500+ for gas, plus the VHPA costs, to get to Washington D.C. for the VHPA and back. Another trip of $700+, for the gas only, puts a burden on the economy of some of us poor folks. Economy is part of the reason that a lot of you haven't made it to Vancouver, LaMoure, and Boxelder,isn't it?

ECONOMICS was my point, bugs be damned.
