In western Fl we have cool nites and mornings and decent during the day for shorts. However, the next day it is hot all day and nite. The heater goes on, then we shut it down, then on, then off. Clothing still going from shorts to sweats. Crazy along the coast. However, has passed the point to go in the ocean..BRRR
Lots still in tents erected in mud fields sitting along the Mississippi and Alabama coasts and beginning to feel that cold and rain. FEMA focused on the big cities but has ignored those in the outskirts. More going to be dumped out on their noses shortly as hotels and motels loose gov't payments and people have nowhere to go. Reporters focusing where gov't help abounds so nation doesn't see the struggles of the middle class who aren't on the welfare rolls and don't have the means or knowledge to rebuild themselves nor the time since they are busy trying to earn enuf to eat and buy necessities. Something is very wrong when all the paper features is the "poor" beachfront residents trying to get help to rebuild their million dollar mansions before summer comes. These are the people who also can afford a lawyer to help them get all the free aid they can.
