I've though long about this, and don't have a clue as to where the anwer might be found...
BUT:

isn't it likely, that between 9/62 and 10/70, the 81st/119th would be on the running for the longest-tenured company-level combat unit in the war?

someone told me once (if I could remember whom, it'd be a miracle) that the 119th was once of the most decorated (unit and personal decorations) company-level combat unit in the war.
