I need some help with this mental picture as well as memory. I know we were at Dak To one time and we were gearing up for an insertion into, well across the county line. We were putting in either a Mike Force or Hatchet Force just inside the BRA. We had some bad intelligence, which landed us in the middle of an NVA Base Camp. We had several ships shot up and a Gunship that was hit and come rolling out of the area Smoking going down with a MayDay call. We fell in behind them and followed them down. We couldn't land because the grass was so thick it was holding us up. Who the hell was that Gun Crew and who was flying our Slick?
