If this is the one I was on it was May 1968. We were doing a LRRP extraction and insertion. My ship had just pulled a team out and we started to take fire. The Crocs rolled in and Pemberton's ship ran into the business end of a quad-fifty.

They went down and we had a full load so our chase ship Mr. Becker (Animal) Mr.Murray crewchief was Heintz and gunner Hahn went in and got them. The Croc gunner was named Egglethrop or something like that. Can't remember the piolts names because I was an FNG at the time. They were all medavac out. Dave Silk would remember this. I can never remember Pemberton's first name. I think they all got DFCs for that one.
