I know what you mean. I flew with "Rocky" "Stoney" and "Bob-Bon". All were hard bars as was "Penis" and "Lite Blue". I would fly to the gates of hell with those guys. I don't think you could generalize by rank when it came to our pilots. Even our bad ones had their time to shine.
