Dennis,Bob,Lumpy and Tom-Thanks for your input. This is a start knowing that the records from our era were not destroyed. I know the awards don't mean a hell of a lot but I am leaning towards spooling up my military adventures in the next few years and I want all the T's crossed and the I's dotted.On my original flight records Operations has me down for 51 Air Medals and I have orders for less. This might be the fat lifers taking away time from us to draw their flight pay and for them to recieve unearned awards. I will live with it since I, like the rest of you know , KNOW WHO WE WERE ,WHAT WE DID AND WHO WE DID IT WITH.
Dennis I don't know if Levi Jones is still dating your daughter but I am getting him on Force Protection in Guernsey on Wednesday.
Ron Carey-you have a memory the size of an elephant-look in your pile of shit and see what you can come up with. Between flying with you and Ed Wesemann on off days we flew as much as 9 Medals worth together.
