Have gone through everything that I have. No luck. I have some order with Sam Stella's name and one for an ARCOM that a bunch of us got for Task Force Alpha but that's it. I didn't receive most of my stuff intil I had been out of the army for several years. I got one set of orders for my air medals just before I got out and then I received a corrected copy in 1972. I received the DFC that Greg Hahn and I were put in for in Sept of 1968. That showed up in 1973.

Nine air medals even at 50 hrs a piece is 450 hrs. That would be about three months worth of flying. Because you were in the Crocs that should be cut in half. I know the last month I was in-country after my ship got messed up we flew a lot together and sharing time as gunners because we were short I think a couple gunner. That one clown Johnny Egglethrome or something like that always had something wrong with him. We no sooner got to An Khe and he went home on emergency leave and then he came back to go into the hospital for something. Between Touch and Mike Rowan it was a contest on who was going to kill him first.
