May sound cornball but mine was to go camping...as I wasn't a grunt the woods held only good memories for me. I wanted to smell juniper and sagebrush instead of diesel and burning shi*. I got the steak dinner too, was a real good steak at Ft. Lewis and they had a guy there trying to talk men into going back...Ha, after the real beef steak there was no way I was going back to water buffalo. Funny though, after about seven months of stateside duty I did go back but not to the 119th, oh no, that would have been to easy, got the 101st instead...big mistake...
