Really sounds like it's going to be nice Huey, no talk of an airstrip though.... how the neighbors gonna visit ???

I'm looking at gyrocopters and have almost started the plans to purchase. The RAF 2000 built in Canada has to be the greatest thing I have ever seen. Need some time to raise the dough (maybe sell the Harley ...) but I think I'm hooked. I'll put a picture up later to show you this thing, just too cool. I also looked at a couple mini 500d's which are pretty neat as well but the airframes are only good for about 2000 hrs before needing an expensive overhaul and they only seat one. The RAF 2000 seats 2, uses a Subaru engine and because it's a Gyro instead of a conventional Helicopter it has fewer "critical" parts. What a rig.... It will land in about 10' of runway but takes about 50' to 100' to get off the ground. Still pretty manageable on a property with a couple of acres. Just pull it out of the garage and your off....
