Dave, you legs had it rough. We got to fly home at the end of the day and eat water buffalo! I can remember the look on the 11B's faces when we brought out hot meals, made me feel real good to see you guys get at least one decent meal while you were out there. Never did figure how they grew the boned chicken, must have been tough just laying around and being hand fed!
What outfit were you with? We dealt a lot with the 4th Inf. and 5th Spec. Forces. I remember once when I had lost my Zippo about three months later a grunt from 1st of the 8th came to Holloway just to give me back my lighter. Pretty damn nice! We were all brothers and still are, that is the one victory they can't take away from us. Thanks for the response, it was getting pretty dull here for a while.
