I got there once. That was the place where you flew over the giant water fall to get to the base. We had to take some SF guys in there and pick up paper work. I remember it was during our tour at FOB II. There was another place along the border that sat in the mountains. There was a MACV compound there. It was more French then anything. I think Bob K. also git there. From some reason I can't the name.

That was the nice thing about the slicks, we got to see a lot of the country. I first year I got all over to II Corp. The second years was the Plei-Trap and then I went to the Crocs. Convoy cover. It sucked. Blasting bad guys was great. Quad fifties sucked. Going to Qui Nhon to have the guns worked on was great. LZ Hardtimes sucked. Being a Croc was great. Being in the slicks was great. Thanks Mark for the site because it is great! Gives us old farts a place to remember.
