: Bob,

: This is excellent, I read to the bottom of the
: thread and I think that you have something
: here. Since there are so many of them and so
: few of us, what would you think about
: building a large package and sending the
: package to the platoon. If they have e-mail
: we could set up communications with them.
: What about Paul Jr's unit, are we doing
: anything for them?

: Let me know what is going on, and what I can
: do.

Dave, I think we all just do what we can; that's all we can do.

Need to be sorta careful with mail, there are regulations about what and how much to send, to whom, etc. USPS site has links that explain.

Fogg's platoon got to me because they said they were getting nothing... you know how that goes, we've both seen it. I bet that anybody belonging to Paul or to Caroline is well-supplied, though, eh?

I was thinkingthat we and they may be better off with many small parcels, just a guess. Shucks, I don't know.

One thing I do know, SAM's wholesale club sells a chocolate cake, weighs about 5 pounds, that's good for about 90 days before it starts to get a little crusty, and I would have killed for a slice of it in Vietnam, crusty or not. If I can figger out how to pack up 4 or 5 of those babies, the war is won.

Thanks,
Bob
