Have stolen your idea for my Marine Corps League. They are trying to recruit some younger members, so I suggested we consider doing just what you guys proposed..send some "care" pkgs to Marines from Pensacola. Have found someone who has at least the address of 1 marine over there and expect League members may know others. Start with that one person and we can go from there and see if that person can ask other members in their outfit if they would like to be adopted. Anyway..am trying to formulate a presentation for this coming week's meeting. Only thing else I can see appealing to the 19 year olds would be meeting females. Will focus on the packages.
Bob K..can you send me the list? Would like to participate with this group's idea, too. Think the small individual pkgs. more personal with each person doing what they can. Important they know we are behind them...lest we forget...
