My duty station after 'Nam was at Wolters. I went out one day just cruisin, and landed my little TH-55A in the first "white tire" area I ever 'worked' as a freshly soloed SP. I was amazed at how much it had been enlarged since then! It musta been close to 5 acres, all prime pasture. A far cry from those "no tire" areas up around Bu Prang, etc.
