STOP IT!!!! You guys are making this all sound WAY TOO GOOD!!!!

The bamboo pole reminds me of the time when Matt (my son) was only about 2 or 3-years-old (he's now 25!)and we were out sailing for the day. On our way back in we were sailing wing & wing (very slowly heading back to shore with the wind) and Matt was sitting in the back with a bamboo pole that had two sections to it. He was trailing the line off the stern of the boat when all of a sudden he said "Mom, when's the fish going to bring my pole back!" He had snagged something and the pole had come apart and he was just sitting there with one end of the pole in his hand..... I'll never forget that! Needless to say, there were no fish for dinner that night!

Just doesn't get much better than being able to sit around and tell fish stories now, does it??
