Gentlemen (& Ladies, of course) I'm in need of some advice. My father is really having a rough time with this cancer. It's not physical, though. Physically, he's doing amazingly well. He's been through 4 weeks of chemo/radiation with very few side effects. Mentally, however, he's not OK. I know he's angry, hurt and scared, but he's taking out his frustrations on my daughter and me.

My poor kid is only 12, and she's spent the last 3 months living with my dad and trying to take care of him the best she can. Today she called me crying, asking if she can come home. So now my dad is by himself and I don't know what to do. He's yelling at us with every response. We can't do anything right. I understand where it's coming from, but it doesn't make it easy to deal with. I have all but quit practicing law because I'm taking him somewhere or dealing with his problems in some way every day. However, nothing I do for him is ever enough. I'm so overwhelmed that I just want to disappear. I don't want to sound whiny, but I'm at a loss. I don't know what to do.
