Yeah, they (68-16583) were in a trail formation behind and to the right of the 69-15777 when the 68-16583 encroached and the rotor struck the 777's boom and removed the t/r. Both ships crashed, the 583 inverted and exploded on impact; the 777's pilots managed to auto-rotate and cushion a little bit. 583's crew all kia, 777's injured, but survived.
Another thought. If the ship found was an older loss, maybe it might have been a B model, and then maybe the year designator might have been what? 62, or 63? in addition to the 64 and 65 D's?
I haven't looked for 16583's earlier than 66, but I will.
