There are several large wind farms that do just that down in the southern part of Wyo - around Medicine Bow, between Rawlins and Laramie just off I-80, and between Sybile Canyon and Wheatland - which would be to the south of and ranging west to east of Casper mountain, which funnels that west wind really well.
