Well Ron,
at the 119th in 66 and 67 I am sure if someone had tried to impose such crap there would have been a mutiny. Fortunately we had some folk in command with common sense (for the most part). As I recall it, we only filled sandbags to repalce the rotten ones, or to build new bunkers. I may be wrong but that is the way I remember it. Ron you were with a bunch of Infantry who had real REMFs. At least MOST of our officers flew and fought and had an idea when to back off on the bullshit.
