Remember the dirt road which ran along the perimeter where the 189th was first set up? The new area was across that road in the area between the X-mas tree and the 604th Maint. In early March or April 1968 the perimeter was enlarged to include the X-mas tree. They started to build the 189th's company area behind our maint. hangars.
